#1 Scam call

I got the exact same message as you did.  I think it's a scam!!!

#2 Scam call

These idiots have been calling me for 7 years lmaooo!!! "Joe Robinson" certainly has a lot of people who want to find him, good luck! One time I answered and said nothing...the guy is all "Joe, Joe...I can hear you, the officials are on their way.." LMAOOOO . They blocked their number to come up as a TX number 512-337-8029 to try to be sneaky, mama didn't raise no fool :D

#3 Debt collector

Idiots. They were asking for another person who's name I couldn't pronounce. Said to call back the 423 area code number. For fun I called, never said who they were, just asked if they can help me. Came in from a Maine number, called that number, phone rings then hangs up. I'm thinking about calling them back and screwing with their brains.

#4 Scam call

Very glad to see this is not just happening to me, the exact same scenario and the exact same voicemail message with Call back number 423-405-1490 with some bogus case number belonging to my mother. I spoke to some lady who calls herself Carmen..when i kept asking what her company name is she kept avoiding and wouldnt answer and then hung up on me..LOL. I called back and got the company name and told her she can dig a hole to sleep in and will never speak to my mother. I spoke to my colleagues at work and they are ALL getting the same calls. Im in the houston area, im not sure whats going on but this company is blasting everyone with this nonsense. Dont give ANY info to these low lifes.. I think I'll call back everyday and harrass them until I'm on a blacklist somewhere :)

#5 Scam call

Was "officially notifying" someone who is not me or of my household of a harassment filed against them and gave me a claim number to reference

#6 Scam call

I don't have caller ID so I don't know what number called, but this is the call back number left on about 5 messages.

It leaves a message that started as a human recorded voice:
"This message is for..." (which is a real human recording)
"...(your name)..." (which is a computer generated voice)

The middle of the message using a human recorded male or female voice varies saying that it's from "Client Processing Division" and that they have been trying to contact you.  They mention some very legal sounding matter that sounds very scary and threatening but very vague with no details or specifics. They goon to say If you don't call back to settle this matter then they may have to come to your place of business or home. They give the call back number (423) 405-1490 but with no contact name or extension.  Then they give you another computer generated voice with a reference number.  Then it says "Consider yourself noticed" or "this is your final notification" or even "good luck."

If this were real, they would not use a computer voice for the information that varies from person to person such as a computer generated form letter than inserts a different person and address for every copy.

The problem with this is that it's at very least borderline threatening, that if you do not respond, they will be forced to show up at your home or place of business.

I hope some authorities will look into this phone scam, shut them down, AND BRING CRIMINAL CHARGES against these scammers for scaring senior citizens.

See below the copy of one of the actual messages:

"This message is intended for... (your name in a digital voice)....contacting you from our client's processing division.  We received an order for you in reference to two pending matters.  Now unfortunately since I am unable to contact you, we may attempt to reach you at home or your place of employment. You have the right to contact the office directly to resolve this matter voluntarily. However if you are located (huh?) you may forfeit that right.
You can reach the office at (423) 405 1490.  Use reference number... (digital voice with a number)...At this time you have been officially notified."

The latest one I received was basically the same except it ended something like This is our last attempt to resolve this matter, "good luck"

#7 Scam call

SCAM !! They called for my brother. I called them back and asked what it’s for. They said they can’t give me info without his consent.
They got my # from a job application my brother filled out several years ago; in a DIFFERENT STATE!
Could have gotten his # from food stamps too.

#8 Scam call

These people are some kind of nut case for sure. they call talking about contacting your human resource department of your job or your place of business, or get your home address to get what they need to get done, No mention as to whom they are or whom they are working for or what the hell they are wanting. They have someone to contact you from a mobile number and then give you another number to contact. What they don't know is that my phone is set to notify of possible scamming phone numbers. I don't bother to answer these calls. I thought I were the only one with my first and last name, but within the pass several weeks I have learned there are 3 or more women with the same name in 3 or more cities.

My husband has received  about three or four phone  calls so far from these people but from a different phone number telling him to call this 423 number back. Each time they either a man or a woman threatens with the same message  that other people are getting..he got another one today saying this is his final attempt warning to settle matter and he needs to call this phone number ( their client today) or else the client will have no choice but to move forward in the matter. And that you forfeit all rights and there looking for our home address. What matter is what we'd  l***.to know. No paperwork  has ever been sent to us for anything. I tried looking up this phone number and it brought me here. My husband gets calls from a 541-288-9438 that I can't find either. When I look the 423 number up it says it's in Dallas Texas.

#11 Scam call

I received the same message as everyone else. I called the number back. Said I owed an old mastercard bill thru nations bank for $2100 and its a $1500 processing fee. Don't have a clue what they are talking about. I kindly hung up on them. No name of company or any other info was provided to me.

#12 Unknown

They keep calling for "Richard" but I live alone.

#13 Scam call

Getting the same calls as above stating they have a case against me and will be coming to my work or home. It has to be a scam, but I'm not sure about what. I intend to block them if possible.

#14 Unknown

Looking for someone with the same last name as mine. Never said what for. Called three times kept saying they were going to take me off the list but didn’t. Still not sure what they wanted.

#15 Scam call

This call comes from an Austin, Texas, number and leaves an automated voicemail stating that they have 2 claims against me and will try to reach me through my employer's HR department. They also called my elderly in-laws and left the same message stating they were looking for me (with previous maiden name). Sounds as though it is just some harassing scam.

#16 Unknown

Well, I hope you are happy now that you have proven to everyone that you are so stupid you couldn't come up with your own post so you had to copy all the others here.

They call from a different number but tell me to call this number back. They say they have 2 matters against me. They used my old married name that hasn't been current in 10+ year's. They say that since I couldn't be reached by phone that they may contact me at home or work. They said I had been officially notified. Notified of what?

I received the first call from this "company" today on my cell number.

Wasn't available to answer the call while at work, listened to the message at home this evening.

The person, did not identify herself or the company she is calling on behalf of.  She spoke with a southern accent and like the others, certain parts of the message, she paused and the automated voice spoke, my name, etc.

The caller ID showed 928-212-9728 and message was as follows, "I've received a faxed order re: a complaint filed against you.  I've been retained to deliver to you documents, either at your residence or your place of employment.  If you have any questions or concerns re: this complaint, you can hit any key on your phone to connect to the office directly or call us at the following number: 403-405-1490 (automated voice said phone number) when calling please reference file no:****** (automated voice said file number), you have officially been notified"

Call was received at 10:08 a.m. MST

I will try calling this number from a landline that is not associated with my name and see how it goes.  Any useful information, I'll update this post accordingly.  Plan on making the return call tomorrow, 4-6-18.

The caller left a voicemail and said she was Angela Basset with GC Services, a debt collection agency. She asked me to return her call at (877)244-7901.  Let me know how that request works out for you, Angie.  The number has been added to my iBlacklist software program and I won't be getting calls from this number any more.  Anyone who wants to block this number, and has a Jailbroken iPhone, should go to Cydia and search for iBlacklist.
